COMPARTIVE STUDY OF SKI TOURISM AT HOME AND ABROAD

Abstract:The paper has studied on the course of ski tourism, natural geographical conditions, the construction of ski area, tourist market at home and abroad.Modern ski sports are divided into three stages i.e.the old China, from 1950's to 1980's, since 1980's, there are good natural geographical conditions in some regions in China, e.g.Mountains Jilinhada and Mountains Zhangguangcai in northeast China are already become ideal mountains to be built of ski arenas.Snow resources in Northeast China have both advantages (the period of accumulating snow from 3 months to 4 months)and insufficiency (the maximum snow depth of 58cm).The ski arenas in China can be divided into high, middle and primary grades.The paper has put forward the fundamental policy of constructing ski arenas, i.e."thorough plan, national distribution and gradual exploitation".The main tourist market is the tourists in China, and in Southeast Asia, Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan province.
